Just as the health of an individual is based on more than body temperature and blood pressure, the health of a community, even a campus community, is based on many factors. These include a sense of belonging for everyone, a sense of civic pride and engagement, the desire to perform service, feeling safe, feeling connected to others in the community, feeling like you are a critical part of something larger than yourself..
The mission of the UHS Campus Community Partnerships team is to promote and support a healthy learning community, which we do through a variety of strategies and initiatives.
The Campus Community Partnerships Team comprises people who work in the areas of civic engagement, community building for diverse populations, community health, and relationship violence/sexual assault prevention.
