Athletic Training Walk-In Clinic
Please note: There will be no walk-in athletic training clinics during the summer. Last day for walk-ins is May 17.
UHS Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs) work with students who have incurred minor injuries from their own workouts or from participating in recreational, intramural, or club sports. Students can drop in for a sports-related injury evaluation and, if needed, obtain a referral to see a UHS sports medicine physician. The service is primarily intended to help students deal with or answer questions about injuries such as sprains, muscle strains, tennis elbow, etc.
The Athletic Training walk-in (or limp-in!) clinic is available during the fall and spring semesters (excluding Winter Break and Spring Break):
- Mondays: 4:30 pm to 7 pm
- Tuesday through Thursday: 4 pm to 7 pm
Check in at the 5th floor Information Desk at 333 East Campus Mall. No appointment is needed, and there is no charge for this service.
Athletic trainers may also be available on a weekday afternoon by appointment; call for more information.
During the summer, ATCs are available by appointment only.
UHS ATCs work in conjunction with the sports medicine physicians. You may be referred to a UHS sports medicine physician by an ATC or another UHS medical provider.
