University Health Services offers free individual counseling for students who would like to assess their current tobacco use and discuss personal strategies for quitting.

Our clinicians can help students quit and stay off tobacco through behavioral strategies and/or prescription nicotine replacement products.

There are also a number of free online programs that feature positive behavior change approaches and give special attention to withdrawal symptoms, weight control, stress management, assertiveness and relaxation techniques.

To get started, come to the reception desk of the UHS counseling service (333 East Campus Mall, 7th floor) any time between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday, for an Access consultation.
