EOH promotes food safety and helps prevent foodborne illness related to UW-Madison facilities and campus events through licensing, inspections, complaint investigation assistance, policy, guidance and training.
Temporary food events
Before applying for authorization/license, review the following.
Complete the appropriate application and submit two weeks prior to event for UHS & Risk Management approvals.
- Non-profit & charitable organizations (Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) & UW-Madison departments)
- For-profit organization & businesses (Vendors external to UW-Madison)
An approval email with payment instructions is sent to the event organizer after UHS & Risk Management review.
