UHS is committed to a safe and respectful community
University Health Services is committed to promoting a safe and respectful UW-Madison campus community. Hate, bigotry, and white supremacy have no place here.
After the events on the University of Virginia campus in Charlottesville over the weekend, you may be experiencing strong reactions which can impact your mental health or ability to cope. If you would like to talk to someone, UHS is here for you. Multiculturally-aware counseling is available. We’re dedicated to creating safe, healthy spaces for students to express their feelings and concerns.
If you need to talk, drop in to Mental Health Services Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can also or call our 24-hour crisis line at 608.265.5600 (option 9). To report an incident of hate/bias on campus, click here. This reporting system is closely monitored and updated regularly.
