Welcome back, Badgers!
We hope you had a restful, fun summer. We’re glad you’re back and ready for the fall semester.
Between moving in, getting involved on campus, and acclimating to student life, remember that University Health Services (UHS) is here for you!
We have two convenient locations—East Campus Mall and Dejope Hall—and offer many, convenient same-day appointments. Our providers cover the basics such as pink eye, sinus infections, and sore throats. Even when UHS is not open, we have 24-hour medical nurse triage line and a mental health crisis line that students can access by calling our main phone number.
Be sure to sign up for a free MyUHS patient/client account. MyUHS is a secure, online portal that allows you to schedule appointments, send and receive secure messages, and view lab results.
A great way to start your semester is to make sure you’re up to date on your immunizations. If you were not able to get all of your immunizations before coming to campus, UHS offers them for a fee. Getting immunized is a great way to take care of yourself and those around you.
In addition to the high-quality clinical care, UHS has prevention programs to help students make informed decisions about their health and well-being during their time on campus and beyond. Be sure to complete your AlcoholEdu and U Got This! online requirements. These programs provide you with information and tools to make healthy, informed decisions around alcohol and helping students in need.
It’s the mission of UW-Madison to provide learning environments where all students can reach their highest potential. We are here to support both your personal and academic success. Come see us, whether it’s for a wellness check-up, to talk about a concern, or to get a massage! And be sure to stay connected to us on one of our many social media channels.
