UHS rolls out new bystander program to help prevent sexual assault and dating violence
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month
Each April, campuses and communities across the nation focus efforts to raise awareness about how to promote healthy relationships and cultural norms, intervene as active bystanders, and support survivors who have been affected by violence.
Embrace your voice by participating in this month’s events on the UW-Madison campus—whether attending a panel event of campus experts, visiting a survivor-centered art exhibit, watching a documentary film, or participating in a day-long training. Ending sexual assault in our communities takes all of us, all year around! Start the conversation this April to continue the dialogue throughout the entire year.
