Statement of support on recent acts of violence and antisemitism
University Health Services (UHS) is committed to promoting a safe and respectful UW-Madison campus community. We believe that everyone deserves to live, learn, work, and thrive in spaces free from all forms of violence.
Our thoughts are with members of the UNC Charlotte campus community who were affected by the shooting on April 30. We are also impacted by recent acts of antisemitism in our state and across the country.
You may experience strong reactions that can impact your mental health or ability to cope. If you would like to talk to someone, UHS Mental Health Services is one option for you to express your feelings and concerns. You can drop in to Let's Talk on campus, no appointment needed, or call 608.265.5600 (option 2), to schedule an Access Appointment. You can also or call our 24-hour crisis line at 608.265.5600 (option 9). There is no cost to use our mental health services.
