Emi uses an integrative approach of systems and interpersonal process therapy, rooted in intersectional feminism, and multicultural backgrounds. Her style is collaborative and centers on empowering students and co-creating a supportive environment tailored to students’ strengths, needs, and specific goals.

“I hope to help students reduce distressing symptoms and focus on personal growth, community connections, and to view themselves with curiosity and compassion.”

Emi’s clinical interests include identity development, anxiety and depression, LGBTQ+ mental health and resiliency, kinks and sexuality, grief/loss, and mindfulness.

Outside of MHS, Emi enjoys board games, videogames, going to concerts and theatre shows, and being outside.
