Violence Prevention Project Assistant

Katka [ze/hir] is the Graduate Program Project Assistant. Ze serves as the lead staff on development of the online violence prevention program for new graduate and professional students in collaboration with other Violence Prevention staff.
Additionally, ze assists with outreach efforts around the online training for graduate and professional students with student groups and campus partners, assists with the coordination and delivery of the violence prevention component of the Graduate Assistant Equity Workshops (GAEW), supports day-to-day operations of UHS violence prevention programs, and works with other UHS staff on student health initiatives.
Hir research deals broadly with language ideologies; dialectology; and language, gender, and sexuality, and hir current research focuses on consent in relationships with at least one trans partner.
