UHS celebrates Womxn’s History Month

University Health Services celebrates Womxn’s History Month and the accomplishments and contributions that womxn-identified individuals have made as students, staff, and faculty on our campus.

Womxn’s History Month exists to highlight the historically understated yet vast and dynamic achievements of transgender, cisgender, and non-binary womxn. We recognize that womxn are disproportionally impacted by issues such as violence, oppression, and inequitable systems of power, particularly as this identity intersects with other held marginalized identities.

As a health care organization, we are committed to supporting all womxn through a variety of services such as campus-wide outreach programming, matching students with providers of specific identities for individual counseling, group therapy specifically for womxn, and comprehensive, and sensitive gynecological and reproductive health services.
