Ericka is excited to have the opportunity to work at her alma mater and will utilize her experiences working in community mental health to help support students who come to UHS to achieve their goals. Ericka previously worked at Crisis Intervention for Rock County Human Services as a Crisis Intervention Worker.

Previously, Ericka worked as a Case Manager at Journey Mental Health Center – Promoting Recovery from Onset of Psychosis (PROPS) program. While at PROPs, she had experience being a part of a multi-disciplinary team, which utilized coordinated specialty care for young adults experiencing their first episode of psychosis and other dual diagnoses. Ericka’s experience at PROPs and also interning at Madison College – Disability Resource Center provided Ericka opportunities to become passionate about early intervention services and working with young adults. Ericka believes in the importance of creating rapport with individuals so they feel comfortable to share their story.

In addition, Ericka focuses on an individual’s strengths, experiences and engages in shared decision making in order to assist the individual in finding the tools that work for them to help them succeed.

During her spare time, Ericka enjoys being active, being out in nature, traveling, and loves watching or attending sporting events, especially for the Wisconsin Badgers.
