Alex Taheri

Alex Taheri joined UHS as a Predoctoral Intern in 2025. His areas of focus include identity development, the mind-body connection, anxiety, and depression.

Alex understands that college brings its own unique challenges for many students and aims to foster a safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative environment in his work with them. Alex deeply values the opportunity to support students during this stage of their lives, where identity, autonomy, and mental health intersect. Working in college health allows Alex to integrate his holistic, client-centered, and strength-based approach with his clinical interests in individual therapy, group therapy, and outreach.

Outside of his clinical work, Alex enjoys spending time with family and friends, producing electronic music, and exercising.
