Student Health Insurance Plan
The Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) at UW-Madison provides comprehensive health coverage for medical, counseling, and prescription services.
SHIP is currently accepting Summer enrollments for newly eligible students only.
Open enrollment for all students begins July 15, 2013.
Available to U.S. citizens or U.S. permanent residents, registered for at least 5 credits as a special or undergraduate student OR 2 credits as a graduate student.
Available to students attending classes on any type of non-immigrant visa (such as an F-1, J-1, H-1, etc.).
Available to visiting scien-tists, professors, post-
doctoral fellows, or non-
degree research project students at UW-Madison on a J-1 visa who are NOT registered for any classes.
