Allergy & Immunization Clinic

UW–Madison does not have specific immunization requirements but it’s important that all students are up to date on their vaccinations. Review your immunization history and arrange to get any missing vaccinations before you come to campus or at UHS (for a fee).

The Allergy & Immunizations Clinic does not initiate a treatment plan of allergy shots, but we can continue the desensitization program students began with their regular allergist. UHS can store allergy serum and give the shots. Patients who are given allergy shots must remain in the clinic for 30 minutes following their shot. UHS can provide limited medication storage for specialty injectable prescription medications to current students.

On occasion, there are national shortages on certain vaccines. Currently, Yellow Fever is unavailable at UHS.
