The Allergy Immunotherapy service does not initiate a treatment plan of allergy shots, but we can continue the desensitization program students began with their regular allergist. UHS can store allergy serum and give the shots.
Patients who are given allergy shots must remain in the clinic for 30 minutes following their shot. UHS can provide limited medication storage for specialty injectable prescription medications to current students.
