Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve never done yoga before, is this a good opportunity for beginners?
No yoga experience is necessary. All levels are welcome.

Will I be adjusted during class?
That is up to you! There are preference cards to place near your mat which will signal to the facilitator whether you would like adjustments or not.

What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing for movement. While many practice barefoot, you are welcome to keep on your shoes or socks.

Do I need to bring a mat?
Yes

How much does this cost?
There is no cost

What should I expect?
Arrive five minutes before class starts. Sign in and take a card representing your adjustment preference. You will be asked to silence your phone (Do Not Disturb or Airplane Mode) and place it face down. There will be time at the beginning of class to ask questions or place requests for favorite poses or focus areas.

Can I leave early?
Each class ends with Savasana (relaxation). If you need to leave early, please let the facilitator know at the beginning to avoid disrupting others.
