Stefanie Denu’s professional interests focus on anxiety, depression, eating concerns, life transitions, identity development, and emotional distress related to chronic or acute medical illness. “My approach to therapy integrates interpersonal components with acceptance and commitment therapy. I invite a mindfulness of instilling both a willing acceptance and goal-oriented change to students’ experience.”

Additionally, Denu states that she is committed to social justice and is particularly interested in exploring systematic health disparities and how to reduce barriers to care for underserved students.
