Hannah Glenn started working at UHS in 2023 and chose to work in college health because college is a time filled with new challenges to navigate, like learning about your identity, relationship challenges, financial concerns, and processing past trauma. Glenn also recognizes that college counseling is many students’ first time seeking therapy, and is excited to play a role in supporting their mental health.

“It’s an honor to get to work with people at the beginning of their mental health journey.”

Glenn has worked with UW-Madison students for four years at the Counseling Psychology Training Clinic (CPTC) and volunteered as a Crisis Counselor for Crisis Text Line before starting her PhD. Glenn approaches her clinical work with the guiding principle that openness, curiosity, and empathy toward peoples’ experiences and identities is foundational in promoting healing.

In her free time, Glenn loves to read contemporary fiction, travel, play tennis, ice skate, kayak, spend time with her cat and dog, and try new coffee shops.
