“With each interface with UW students or my professional colleagues, I am left energized by a multitude of new questions, several potential answers, and the awareness that I am never alone on the journey,” says Hoese of her experience working with college students and why she enjoys this population. Her professional interests include relationship dynamics and group/couple/partner interventions; international/cultural awareness; identity and career development; strategies for anxiety, depression, and grief; first-year, transfer student, and post-deployment adjustment; and developing professional identity (through supervision and training).
