Biography

Kristen Lively helps oversee the nursing and clinical support teams that provide Gynecology and Sexual Health services at University Health Services (UHS). She works with nurses and medical assistants to help ensure patients receive high-quality, compassionate, and efficient care.

In addition to supporting these clinical services, Lively helps coordinate important quality and safety initiatives, including accreditation activities for Medical Services and programs that support student health requirements, such as immunization disclosure. She also collaborates on projects that improve healthcare services and the overall patient experience for students.

Lively joined UHS in 2017. She chose to work in college health to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for students to seek health care while also empowering them to advocate for themselves and their health. As a nurse, Lively is continuously striving to create an environment where students feel comfortable enough to ask any health-related questions and feel supported.  

Personal interests

Outside of UHS, Lively enjoys spending time with her family outdoors, hiking, fishing, and swimming.
