Amy Schubert

Dr. Schubert is a Faculty Associate for the UW-Madison Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, and joined UHS in 2019 with a clinical background in sports rehab, and specialization of treatment of athletes with lower-extremity injuries related to running, including video analysis of running mechanics. Amy also previously owned and operated her own personal training business for individuals with complex medical and/or surgical history.  She enjoys treating injuries related to the extremities (particularly the lower extremity, and running-related injuries), as well as post-operative rehabilitation, for individuals looking to return to an active lifestyle.  Amy also enjoys promoting healthy lifestyle habits, including the importance of safe implementation of physical activity, to improve overall wellness.
