Jermaine (Jay) Bean is a man with short brown hair and a beard.

Jay Bean joined UHS in 2022 and is an embedded provider with UW Athletics. He received his Masters degree in Sport Psychology. During his doctoral program he worked with athletes in various capacities at UCLA and DePaul University before starting at UW Athletics.

As an embedded Mental Health and Sport Psychology provider, Bean provides sports performance consultations, individual counseling, coach education, and team-based programming and consultation. In addition, he has a focus on serving student-athletes of color.

Outside UHS, Jay enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports, playing basketball, and attempting to golf!
