Biography

Danyelle joined UHS in 2019.

Danyelle provides psychotherapy to students helping them navigate a wide range of concerns.

Approach

Danyelle’s approach to therapy is person-centered, solution focused, and comprehensive. Her approach is informed by an understanding of how identity and socioeconomic factors impact one’s mental health.

Professional Interests/Specializations

Danyelle has experience working with a variety of students but has a special interest in working with students from marginalized communities. She is trained in EMDR, CBT, DBT, therapeutic horticulture, and ecotherapy. Danyelle has many clinical areas of interest but a few of her favorites are mindfulness, self-compassion, boundaries, and communication. 

Personal Interests

Danyelle is a master gardener and enjoys spending time outside.
