Biography

Samantha Robinson joined University Health Services as a Registered Nurse in 2024. Nursing has always been more than a career to her; it is a calling and a privilege. She finds great joy in caring for others and believes nursing is about more than treating symptoms. It is about listening, educating, advocating, and supporting each person throughout their healthcare journey.

Robinson’s nursing journey has included caring for patients in rural communities, urgent care, specialty care clinics, and school health settings. These experiences have given her the privilege of caring for individuals and families through a wide range of healthcare experiences and have strengthened her passion for education, advocacy, and compassionate care.

Robinson especially enjoys working in college health and supporting students during such an important time in their lives. She values the opportunity to help students feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate their health needs. Robinson believes physical and mental health are deeply connected and values a whole-person approach to care.

Personal interests

Outside of work, Robinson enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. Her family loves being outdoors, especially spending time on the lake, fishing, camping, exploring nature, and making memories together. She finds joy in the simple moments of life, the adventures they share, and the time spent with the people she loves.
