Biography

Lindsay Barber focuses on clinical operations—from a day-to-day view to a systemic perspective—including the optimization of clinical and administrative workflows to enhance patient services and staff support.

Prior to joining UW–Madison in 2022, Barber worked in college health at other institutions in Michigan and Texas and had followed the work of UHS as a leader in college health.

“In college health, we have a unique opportunity to be instrumental in teaching students how to be responsible health care consumers. The balance between treating and managing a student’s health needs while simultaneously educating them on healthy decisions and lifestyle choices gives us an advantage that no other healthcare providers have.”
