Summer Health Fee

Your student status changes when the spring semester ends. Spring semester eligibility, including graduating students, ends on Friday, May 8, 2026. To use UHS services during the summer (if you are not enrolled in summer courses), you must purchase the summer health fee.

What is the summer health fee?

A $138.97 fee that provides access to all UHS services from May 18 to August 31, 2026, for students not enrolled in summer courses.

Eligibility

  • Summer Courses: If you are enrolled in summer courses, the summer health fee is included in your tuition.
  • Spring 2026 Students: Any student (except for spring 2026 graduates) enrolled in the spring 2026 semester is eligible to pay the summer health fee.
    • Exception: Spring 2026 graduates can purchase the summer health fee for the one eligibility period immediately following graduation.
  • SHIP Members: All Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) members with active coverage (including spring 2026 graduates) are eligible to use UHS during the summer.
  • Guest Students: Guest students are not eligible to use UHS because they do not pay segregated fees during the academic year.

The cost of the Summer Health Fee is $138.97.

Pay Summer Health Fee

The Office of Student Assistance and Support provides short term loans may be sought by students when an unexpected life event or circumstance takes place that causes financial hardship. Emergency support is also available for immediate and essential expenses
