Biography

Felix joined UHS in 1996.

Fexlix oversees our training programs, providing mentorship and guidance. Felix also meets with students for individual counseling and group counseling.

Approach

Felix uses a solution focused and humanistic approach to supporting students. He emphasizes the being in the present and the capacity to adjust to stressful life events. Felix looks at change as a continuum and seeks the resilience in every person

Professional Interests/Specializations

Felix collaborates with the students he sees to address a variety of general mental health concerns, including substance abuse and anger management. When supporting students, he focuses on the story they bring, not the symptoms.

Personal Interests

As the firstborn of an Italian family, family has always been central Felix’s identity. He values his role as a son, brother, father, husband, and grandfather. Felix also shares a love for dogs, cats, and horses.

Felix enjoys outdoor music and have developed a knack for tackling weeds in the garden. His guiding motto is “Fa cose buone” — “Do good things.”
