Biography
Kyle Gibson specializes in orthopedic evaluation, musculoskeletal injury management, rehabilitation, injury prevention, and therapeutic dry needling. As a Certified Athletic Trainer, he works with students to evaluate injuries, develop individualized treatment plans, and help them safely return to the activities that are important to them.
Gibson values building relationships with students and takes a collaborative, evidence based approach to care. He believes education is an important part of the recovery process and works closely with patients to help them understand their injuries, make informed decisions, and achieve their personal goals. He joined UHS in 2023.
In addition to his role at UHS, Gibson serves as the lead athletic trainer for Club Sports at Rec Well, where he oversees athletic training services for club sport athletes and provides medical coverage for competitions. He enjoys working with active individuals, from recreational participants to competitive athletes, helping them stay healthy, recover from injury, and perform at their best.
Personal interests
Outside of UHS and Rec Well, you can find Gibson cheering on his kids sports. He also enjoys playing golf and basketball.
