Position title: Associate Director of Health Informatics & Information Management, Privacy Coordinator
Luke Thompson works in the Informatics – Point and Click (PnC) department of UHS. Since his start in 2020, Thompson has been assisting with PnC questions, problems, configurations, and related workflows.
“I hope to contribute to positive health and well-being of UW-Madison students by ensuring their health care professionals have an electronic health record (EHR) system that is efficient and innovative to allow them to focus on providing impeccable care,” Thompson says.
He describes his job as the perfect opportunity to immerse himself into the work of informatics, while also working to build a team focused on improving the EHR experience.
