Substance Use Concerns
In a confidential and non-judgmental space UHS mental health providers work collaboratively with students to identify their readiness to make changes in their relationships with alcohol and/or other substances. Students and providers will work toward the goal of improving health outcomes and reducing harmful behaviors.
A personalized treatment plan may include individual and/or group counseling. Group treatment can help students build community through offering and receiving support from others who are also making changes in their relationship with alcohol and/or other substances. Additional on- and off- campus resources may also be considered.
